First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PRA.
Clinical Research Associate
Had a quick phone screen first, then they invited me for an in-person interview. It was with the Director of Clinical Operations and a Manager from Clinical Operations. They dug deep into my resume, so know your resume inside and out because they ask really specific questions about it. The whole interview took about an hour. They were really nice during the phone call and also when I met them in person.
- Can you tell me why you are interested in working for our company?
CTM
There were 2 phone interviews and then a 3.5 hour in-person interview. For the in-person, I first had to prepare and then present a case study. After the presentation, I was asked questions about the case study and my previous experience.
- The interviewer thought I was too experienced for the role and asked a lot of questions about it.
Recruiter
The process felt disorganized with too many people involved. I had to complete a background check form even before the actual interview. Some interviewers acted entitled and used unprofessional language, like dropping the 'F' bomb.
- What are your weaknesses or reasons you might not be a good fit for this role?
Clinical Research Associate
I had a telephone interview first, then a skype interview with three managers. I got an email about four days after the second interview saying I wasn't selected for the last stage.
- Can you tell me about your experience with the clinical start-up process?
