After I applied online, I got an email to set up a phone call/screening. About a week later, the boss of the SF location emailed me wanting to set up an in person interview. They told me that two people would interview me and that I'd have to do a proofreading/math test after the interview. Less than a week after that, I got another invite to come back for a final interview. This time the boss would actually be there and I'd interview with her and then all the team members would introduce themselves and ask me one question.

I had a couple of calls about my resume, which was pretty straightforward. Then I went into the office to meet everyone and get a feel for the team. They really wanted to see if I would fit in with the group.

I sent my resume straight to the hiring manager, who's also a co-owner, and then we had a quick phone chat to see if I was a good fit. After that, I came in to meet the leadership team, and then met everyone else in the office to get a sense of the vibe. It's an open office, so meeting and connecting with the team was key, as much as skills.
