First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PRA.
Event Producer
Submitted a written application. Then, went through four video interview rounds with different departments. Had calls to negotiate salary. Received an offer letter. Completed 2 weeks of onboarding, which included live video training, pre-recorded videos, an LMS, and hands-on practice. Did some in-person shadowing.
- How would you handle challenging client interactions?
- What makes you want to join PRA?
- Could you describe your experience within the industry?
Event Coordinator
After I applied online, I got an email to set up a phone call/screening. About a week later, the boss of the SF location emailed me wanting to set up an in person interview. They told me that two people would interview me and that I'd have to do a proofreading/math test after the interview. Less than a week after that, I got another invite to come back for a final interview. This time the boss would actually be there and I'd interview with her and then all the team members would introduce themselves and ask me one question.
- What qualities do you believe define a good manager?
- Suppose you could organize any event in San Francisco; describe where you would hold it and provide specifics.
Sales Coordinator
I had a couple of calls about my resume, which was pretty straightforward. Then I went into the office to meet everyone and get a feel for the team. They really wanted to see if I would fit in with the group.
- Can you elaborate on the points mentioned in your resume?
- Do you think you'd be a good personality match for us?
Sales Manager
I sent my resume straight to the hiring manager, who's also a co-owner, and then we had a quick phone chat to see if I was a good fit. After that, I came in to meet the leadership team, and then met everyone else in the office to get a sense of the vibe. It's an open office, so meeting and connecting with the team was key, as much as skills.
- What makes you the best candidate for this role?
