Applied and heard back about a month later. Went through several interview rounds that included a creative test. It took about a week for them to get back to me after each stage. The overall vibe was friendly.

Behavioral Technical

It was a pretty straightforward, welcoming, and fast interview process. There were three stages in total. First, I spoke with HR, then I met with the team, and finally, I had an animation test. Everyone seemed really open-minded and friendly. They made sure I understood the expectations and responsibilities clearly, and nothing unexpected came up during or after. The team was very upfront and honest with me.

Behavioral Technical Presentation

The interview process felt pretty chaotic. I'd have an interview, then wouldn't hear back. I'd have to follow up, and HR would schedule another one. Then again, nothing, more follow-ups. For the interviews that did happen, sometimes the interviewer would show up, and sometimes they'd just randomly be unavailable. Even though I was way overqualified, they still wanted work samples, which I provided reluctantly. Two weeks after I'd already decided I wasn't interested, HR reached out about a much lower-level position, which I'd be even more overqualified for. Their communication was basically non-existent, and it seemed like they were just trying to offer the lowest possible salary. The whole experience showed a real lack of empathy and consideration for my time.

Behavioral Presentation

Even though I knew some folks who used to work at PPK and then left, I went through their interview process and got an offer, but I turned it down because of my experience during the interview. The management was super unprofessional; they spent way more time trashing my current company and boss instead of asking me interview questions. The other team members I talked to were also quite rude. The company itself does good work and has a pretty impressive client list, but the workplace culture felt more like a high school clique than a professional environment.
