Intern
The interview had a phone screen and then a panel interview. It felt like a good experience overall, though they weren't super clear about what they were looking for in a candidate. The panel went pretty well.
- Regarding your future, what are your long-term career objectives?
Help Desk Technician
I applied for the Help Desk role through my school, and the first step was a phone interview where I was asked generic questions like 'tell me about yourself'. After that, I was invited for an in-person interview. I waited about 15 minutes in a meeting room before the manager came in and asked me some general questions. Then, the help desk manager interviewed me. It was a bit awkward because it seemed like they hadn't prepared much, and the manager kept leaving to get other people to ask me questions. Despite that, I felt the interview went well, and they seemed impressed by my home tech use and passion for computer science. I asked about hearing back within a week, and they said yes, mentioning they were waiting on a few more interviews. Two weeks later, I hadn't heard anything, so I emailed the manager and was told they were still interviewing. Another month passed with no word, so I figured they weren't interested. I'm disappointed by the lack of communication, but overall it was a good interview experience.
- Could you describe the technology you utilize in your home environment?
Web Developer
HR first gave me a call to screen me, and then I interviewed with some of the employees who are in the position. They let me know within a week after the interview. It was a really nice interview, very authentic feeling.
- Tell me about a time you resolved a conflict.
