I applied for a software engineering role in early June. About two weeks later, I got a notification to complete an online quiz or a take-home assignment within a week. Even though I'd read reviews about them ghosting candidates after this stage, I decided to proceed. I ended up doing both the coding quiz (around 1.5 hours) and the take-home assessment (about 12 hours). I submitted them and got a confirmation that they were received. It's been about six weeks since then and I haven't heard back. Last week, I noticed the job was reposted as a new listing. So, good luck to anyone else applying.

The interview process had 3 rounds and involved two testing rounds, all finished in one day within 3-4 hours. First, I met a senior dev and talked about my resume, and was asked some standard behavior questions. Then, the first interviewer gave me a 30-minute short answer test covering Java, JavaScript, Database, and Algorithms. After a 30-minute break, I met the second interviewer, a junior engineer. They quickly reviewed my test answers and then asked technical questions based on my experience. After that, I was given a 45-minute coding test. Finally, I met with the CTO. I got an offer two days later.

The entire interview took about 4 hours total. It was split into 4 separate parts, and each part was about 45 minutes. The first 45 minutes was mostly behavioral questions and discussing my resume. The second part involved short answer questions about Java, Javascript, Sql, and basic running time complexity. Afterwards, another developer reviewed my answers. Then I had a 45 minute coding challenge, and after that, another developer reviewed my code.
