Estimator
We had an initial phone screening, followed by a phone interview with the hiring managers. The phone interview was a total disaster. One interviewer didn't show up, and the other one was on the road, so their signal kept cutting out.
- Can you tell me about yourself and what you've accomplished?
Maintenance Manager
I interviewed for the Maintenance Manager role initially, but they thought I lacked sufficient corporate experience. They then offered me an interview for a supervisory role that was less corporate. After interviewing for that second position, they ultimately rejected me due to my short tenure at previous jobs, which was caused by corporate restructuring and layoffs. While I understand that, my references could have explained those circumstances, and they didn't even bother to check them. They really made me work hard for nothing.
- Can you share some of your past accomplishments?
- How would you describe your management style?
Human Resources
The interview process was a standard Behavioral Interview. I spoke with several members of the management team over several days. The experience was great, and I chose PPS over two other companies because of the potential for professional growth.
- Can you provide an example of a situation?
- Describe how you've overcome obstacles in the past.
