First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PostNet.
Regional Director
First, a recruiter reached out. We scheduled a brief screening interview. If that went well, there were three more interviews, all arranged by the recruiter. Scheduling these took a while due to availability. The first interview was fairly standard with typical questions. The second interview seemed unrelated; the interviewer mostly made small talk. The third was with an international corporate leader, quite formal but unexpected. I was told I was practically guaranteed the job and it was just a formality, but then I was questioned intensely. Afterward, the recruiter was supposed to contact me about next steps, but I was ghosted. After four interviews and an Excel test, I expected at least some feedback. I rated it difficult because of the multiple interviews with different partners and a test, even though there weren't difficult questions. The interviews weren't structured, making it hard to know what was expected, and there were hints I already had the job.
- Can you describe your career path?
Graphic Designer
This job was a mix of retail/sales counter work and graphic design. The interview was pretty simple and straightforward, just talking about my background and schooling. It wasn't anything super unusual. They really wanted someone with customer service skills since the role involves a lot of customer interaction. We were expected to do everything: designing, selling, prepress, printing, or ordering stuff for customers that we didn't make ourselves.
- Tell me about the kinds of design projects you've worked on before.
- What's your background in customer service?
- How do you feel about doing sales and interacting with customers in a shop setting?
Production Manager
I followed the instructions on the website. They let me move on to a video interview, but I didn't really like it. It took me out of my comfort zone, and I don't think the interviewer got a good sense of who I am.
- Describe a situation where a job with a customer did not go as planned, and explain your approach to managing it.
Customer Service Representative
The interview was pretty straightforward and general. They asked questions that mostly involved explaining the machines and my experience with software. It was quite simple.
- Can you tell me about your experience with copy machines?
- Can you describe your experience using software?
