Behavioral Technical Case

This interview experience started off promising but became incredibly unprofessional. My first interview, which was supposed to be with the Head of Data, was abruptly canceled without anyone telling me. I waited on Zoom for over an hour, trying to make it work for an offshore manager, only to find out later it was called off and the recruiting coordinator dropped the ball on letting me know. Just a total communication failure and no respect for my time. Then, when I finally got to the hiring manager round, things got even worse. They said it would be a relaxed, behavioral chat, but it ended up being a series of case studies. To top it off, the hiring manager actually laughed about my layoff situation, which I had shared honestly. It was really humiliating. Being forced into analytical problem-solving right after that was super disorienting. For a company that talks about working together and overcoming challenges, this was a major fail on empathy, honesty, and respect. Honestly, I'm not even upset I didn't get the job; I'm just disappointed I put more effort and professionalism into this process than they ever showed me.
