First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Postino WineCafe.
Server
Applied through Indeed, had a quick phone chat, then got scheduled for an in-person interview. They asked about teamwork and how we achieve goals together, with many questions tied to the company's core values. They hired me just a few hours after the in-person meeting.
- What's your approach to achieving goals as part of a team?
Server
I set up an interview online, and then had one quick in-person interview that was about 10-15 minutes. They asked a couple questions based on my resume.
- Can you tell me about your experience so far?
Bartender
It was a casual interview. We talked about myself and my past jobs. I was asked what I knew about the company and why I was interested in working there. It was a relaxed conversation.
- What makes you want to join the Postino team?
Server/Bartender
It was a pretty chill interview process, everyone was laid back. They were mostly trying to see if you would fit into the company culture, not really focused on prior experience. The training was intense though after getting hired. I ended up taking the job and stuck around for a bit.
- Do you have any prior experience as a server?
