First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Ports 1961.
Graphic Designer
After the interview, I was asked to do a test, specifically to create a graphic for their social media channels. I finished the project and sent it, but I never got any feedback, it was as if I hadn't sent anything. Later, I found out I wasn't selected. However, some time later, I noticed they had used some of my graphic ideas on their social profiles. I found it to be a real mockery.
- General questions about my previous work experiences
Marketing Project Coordinator
It was a long back and forth over the phone. I also had to do a project which was weird because the job didn't involve that kind of work. Then, during pay negotiation, HR got really difficult and said there was no way I could ask for more than they offered.
- Can you tell me about your previous role?
Senior Ecommerce Executive
I applied online and received an email invitation for a Zoom interview. During the Zoom interview, I was constantly interrupted because the recruiter was in a rush. Please work on your interview skills.
- What qualifications did you have for your previous roles?
Sales Associate
It was a quick and easy process. I had to fill out an employment form beforehand, which was a bit challenging because it asked for my current salary and desired position and salary. Two interviewers were present, which made me a little nervous, but they were very nice. The only downside was that they initially mentioned an exciting position, but then during the interview, they revealed that the only available role was Sales Associate.
