Started with a greeting, then a laid-back 30-minute Q&A session. After that, there was a math assessment. We continued talking once the assessment was graded, and then they told me about the next steps.

I didn't apply for the role; they reached out after finding my resume. The initial phone interview was somewhat professional. Two weeks later, I was invited for an in-person interview. However, it was communicated that I'd need to adjust to the Area Director's availability, not the other way around. We arranged an interview for 10 AM the following day. Then, at 1 AM, he texted to say he was having car trouble and wanted to reschedule for later that afternoon. It wasn't so early that a reasonable call couldn't have been made earlier to inform me. I'd prefer to take my expertise to a company that operates with higher professionalism.

I met with the area manager, president for the local Popeyes franchise and the owner. They talked about their expectations and plans for the future. Reviewed over my resume; asking a few questions. They explained the base pay and bonuses I would have access to as an assistant general manager and eventually as a general manager.
