Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Popeyes.
Atendente
The hiring process was really long, disorganized, and frankly, felt inhumane. It was supposed to start at 8:30 AM, but the people in charge were at least an hour late. It ended up going all the way until 5:30 PM. Because of how long it dragged on, some people gave up before they even got to interview. They had other commitments, were tired, and mostly just felt unwell from being hungry. They only had candy and cereal bars to eat during this all-day ordeal. There were only two recruiters for a lot of candidates, and just one of them was actually doing the interviews. Candidates had to fill out a form, then confirm and add more details with one person, and then get called for the interview by the other person, individually. Honestly, it felt like the people running it totally disregarded the candidates throughout the whole selection process. However, the interview itself was pretty chill.
- Why Popeyes?
- Why should I hire you?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was easy and not too long. They asked standard questions that you'd typically answer for a job like this. Everything was organized and the manager was nice. It seemed like a busy store with many customers, and the role looks physically demanding.
- What contributions do you believe you can make
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was good, though they asked many questions and about my experience. First, they tested my communication and problem-solving skills. Then, they checked my ethics and grooming, and asked about the languages I know.
- How would you respond if a customer informed you that they received an incorrect order?
