Front End Developer
The interview process typically has three rounds. First is a technical round with the development team to check coding skills The second is a managerial round where they focus on real-time problem solving The final round is with HR to discuss salary, culture fit, and availability.
- Given JavaScript technical coding to solve.
Deputy Manager
The first interview was a phone call where they asked about my work history, where I'm located, and why I'm looking to switch jobs. They also tested my knowledge in depth, asking about terminologies and certifications. The second interview was in person. They explained the role and what they expect from the person in this position, and they wanted detailed answers.
- What is your notice period?
- What are your salary expectations?
- Can you describe your work experience?
Data Scientist
The interview process was smooth and included both HR and technical rounds. The questions were based on my academic projects and work experience. I'd advise candidates to have strong knowledge in statistical modeling, machine learning, deep learning, and NLP.
- Can you explain the CNN architecture?
- What is a Confusion Matrix?
- Tell me about Deep Learning.
Recruiter
It started with an HR recruiter calling me about a Campus Recruitment role. They sounded really interested and wanted to move to an in-person discussion. But then, nothing for like a week! I had to chase them with emails and messages to get any response, and only then did they schedule an interview. When I finally got to the interview, I found out the original role I applied for was closed right after that first call, like the next day. They then switched the interview to a Senior Leadership Hiring role, which I wasn't told about beforehand, not when scheduling or before the interview. The interview was about this senior role, needing lots of executive recruitment experience. My background is more entry/mid-level campus hiring, so it was a mismatch, and they said I didn't have enough senior experience. While the first call was good, the rest was a mess – bad communication, no transparency about the role change, slow replies, and me having to follow up constantly. It felt disorganized and like they didn't care about my time.
- Could you discuss your previous work and experiences?
- What kind of projects or tasks have you handled previously?
