Candidate interview experiences
First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Poly.
Sales
The interview process starts with an application/resume screening to filter candidates based on qualifications like experience, education, and keywords. Next, there's a phone/initial screening interview to check basic qualifications, communication skills, resume overview, availability, salary expectations, and some basic role-related questions. After that, a technical/skill-based assessment is given, followed by an offer.
- Tell me about yourself and the company.
- What is your understanding of sales?
Sales
It was the same as other reviews, 3 really positive interviews, got great feedback, they practically offered me the job and then… nothing. It felt like I was bothering them by just asking for feedback, the tone changed and it left me with a very bad feeling about the company. This seems to be a problem repeated with candidates. Not ethical at all.
- What are some standard interview questions?
Sales Representative
The interview process was seamless. The hiring manager was really great and transparent about the role and process. I had to interview with 6 people during the process. Most of the interviews were done by video. I would recommend this company overall.
- What makes you successful as a sales representative?
