They expected the skills of a fully credentialed teacher with lots of classroom management experience. This is unreasonable for only $16-$18 part-time. They should not waste your time applying if you do not have a teaching credential.

It was a brief, about 15-minute chat. It felt more like a conversation than an interview, with the interviewer doing most of the talking about their own experiences. They mentioned the school is new and that most of its classrooms are full. I noticed the teachers seemed professional and were dressed nicely.

The hiring process was really smooth, and I got hired pretty fast. The person interviewing me seemed nice. Most of the paperwork was done online. They were clear about the pay and the hours. The office is in a good spot and the other teachers seemed friendly. Some of the staff have been there a long time.

The hiring process was super confusing. I think they found me on LinkedIn, but I still don't know if they wanted me as a Professor or an Academic Assistant. I got ghosted and wouldn't recommend this to anyone, it seems like a scam. The interview was in English.
