First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Poke House.
Team Member
The website said it would take about 30 minutes, but it was actually way shorter, like 15-20 minutes tops, which was great. The interviewer was really nice and friendly. We just sat down at the Poke House where I applied and chatted. The questions were pretty standard, not really specific to Poke House or food, mostly about my background, strengths, weaknesses, and how I handle tough spots. They even asked a fun question about my hobbies and what I do in my free time, which was a nice change.
- Can you share an instance where you faced a difficult situation and how you managed to bounce back?
- Tell me about a time you faced a challenging situation and how you managed to recover.
Guest Services
It was okay, the manager was polite and the interview was somewhat quick, it was around 5 minutes or so. I feel like it was rushed though because the restaurant was busy.
- Can you tell me about a time when you demonstrated leadership skills?
Cashier
The interview was over the phone and took about an hour. They asked simple questions about personal strengths, weaknesses, and what I would contribute to the company. It was straightforward and easy to follow.

The interview was quick and had a good atmosphere. Professional people were there to help you the whole time. They asked for my CV, and wanted me to show I was eager to work, wanted to have fun, and had a good presence.
