The interview was in-person, just one very conversational round with the store manager. We talked about my previous experience and why I want to work there. It was pretty easy-going and chill. We also covered availability and scheduling.

It was a straightforward, regular process with interview questions and then time for my questions. The setting was casual, and I didn't feel any pressure at all. We just talked about my background and skills. The interviewer was very kind.

I applied back in March, and it took about 3-4 weeks from submitting my resume to getting an on-site interview set up. Like someone else mentioned, there's a personality test and a simple math test before the recruiter calls you for a 30-minute chat. My recruiter was a little late for our call, and it ran over by about 15 minutes. She mentioned the previous person in this role was 'too corporate' and 'too rigid' for their company culture, which is why they needed to fill the position. I was still interested, though, and we scheduled an on-site with 3-4 people, including a co-founder, the CMO, and a marketing manager. When they had a scheduling conflict, I was flexible and agreed to a new time. Unfortunately, I came down with a cold right after, so I contacted the recruiter to reschedule because I was sick... but then the recruiter just ghosted me. It felt really unreliable and unprofessional. I waited a couple of days for a response, but since I didn't hear anything back, I figured they didn't care to offer the same professional courtesy I had extended, so oh well. Based on company reviews and my interview experience, I wouldn't recommend working here. It's also interesting that they're hiring for this marketing director role again just two months after closing the job posting.

The interview process was quite easy and direct. They asked a few simple questions, nothing too complex. It was designed so that even someone with no prior work experience could do well. The interviewers were very friendly and approachable. Best of luck!
