First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Pointe Pest Control.
Technician
I did not like the system, and I am not Mormon which seemed to be a problem since I applied for a sales position. They wanted to offer me a tech spot without training and for low pay. I heard they have a bad reputation for trying to poach customers from other companies and spreading false information about them.
- What is your religion?
Office Administration
I was first contacted for a phone interview. After that, I received follow-up email questions and was asked for references. Then, I had two in-person interviews before I was offered the job. The entire process felt really thorough, and I appreciated getting a lot of information about the company and how employees interact. It seemed important to be proactive in discussing your contributions to the company's success.
- Can you describe your proficiency with various programs and functions?
- Are you motivated to acquire new skills and advance within the company?
Start Technician
The interview process is pretty standard. Experience is preferred but not required. The interview is more about getting to know you as a person and is fairly laid back. Pointe was very quick to respond, which is always a plus!
- Can you tell me a little about yourself?
- Do you have any experience relevant to this role?
Customer Service Representative
The interview process was quick and straightforward. I got a good sense of the team I'd be joining. There weren't any tricky questions or anything that felt like a surprise. They were upfront about the day-to-day responsibilities, no beating around the bush.
- Why are you interested in working in pest control?
