I had a great interview experience at Point for a senior software engineering role. The process spanned about 2-3 weeks and included an online coding assessment, a 30-minute phone screen, and a multi-hour virtual onsite. The onsite involved coding, system design, and behavioral interviews. The coding questions were similar to LeetCode but they weren't focused on time complexity. The company seems to really care about the candidate experience, as everyone was friendly and helpful, even guiding me to the right answers when I wasn't initially spot on.

I went through Triplebyte, which started with a phone screen with Eddie, who's the CEO and also acting engineering manager. After that, it was the onsite interview. The onsite included a system design session with Eddie, followed by a live coding challenge. Then, I had lunch with two people who weren't engineers. Next up was whiteboard coding, then a discussion with the PM, and after that, a chat with the other co-founder. The whole thing wrapped up with another discussion with Eddie.

The interview process was very professional and well-organized. It kicked off with a recruiter call, then moved to chats with the hiring manager and folks from engineering and product. They did technical interviews, including coding and a system design chat. The recruiter was super helpful and supportive throughout, and I really appreciated the guidance. Everyone was nice, respectful, and genuinely wanted to see how I tackle problems and work with others. They made it easy to share ideas and figure out solutions in a relaxed setting.
