First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PNY Technologies.
Business Analyst
I had interviews with 4 departments on the same day: HR, FIN, Product, and IT. Each interview was 30 minutes long. They asked a lot about my past experience, my knowledge, and my personality. The company is in a nice new building.

Inside Sales Representative
I spoke with the recruiter first and it was fine, but talking to the hiring team was rough. I had the skills and motivation, but I never knew what they wanted. None of the interviews were longer than 15 minutes. I got pushed through and made it to the final rounds, but then they ghosted me. Honestly, it felt like I dodged a bullet.

Marketing Manager
So, I withdrew my application because this whole interview process was kind of a mess. They advertised the job as hybrid, which was a total lie, 'cause it's actually a full five days onsite with no hope for hybrid work. My final interview with three execs was rough. One dude was super condescending and kept cutting me off, acting like he knew better. It felt like they just wanted me to say what they wanted to hear. They even downplayed my efforts in updating my resume and building a website during my job search, like it was nothing. Presenting my work was tough because they kept interrupting me. They really zeroed in on my lack of direct management experience, even though I've led teams, covered for my manager, and handled projects for a huge region. Then I found out senior managers only get two weeks of PTO, which is insane. After they promised feedback quickly, the recruiter just ghosted me, which told me I wasn't getting the job. I told them I was out, not wasting my time anymore. The company culture felt outdated, and the benefits were a joke. It was disappointing and I wouldn't recommend interviewing here.
- What are your biggest strengths and weaknesses, and why should we hire you?
- Can you tell me about what you've been doing during your time off?
Sales Manager
It was a long process, about 6 months total. Started with a quick call with the headhunter. Then my future boss called and asked similar questions, plus checked my market knowledge. After that, I had a 1-hour call with the CEO about the market and customers for my area. Then I visited the HQ for two days. The first day was tough, meeting with lots of high-level managers and directors, answering all sorts of questions, some not even relevant. The second day was better, I got to ask my questions and most were answered. Finally, they confirmed my acceptance over dinner.
- Can you discuss the market specifics for the product you managed?
- How do you work with others?
