The first interview was a phone call lasting about an hour. It was pretty laid-back and conversational, mostly covering behavioral topics and some market-related questions. After that, I had a Super Day in Pittsburgh, which involved three back-to-back interviews with senior management and VPs. The whole experience was positive, and the interviews were mainly behavioral and conversational. They extended an offer the following week.

I was contacted about a job I didn't apply for, but the description matched another role I'd applied to, so I went ahead. The hiring manager's interview was totally different from the description. It was awkward; the manager seemed untrained, struggled to explain the role or team, and kept getting the job title wrong. I also remembered a past PNC experience where they said they wanted someone 'more like Tom Brady.' I would never work here.
