So basically there were three video calls. The first one was with the person who would be my supervisor, and it was mostly about getting to know each other, learning about the business, and a general rundown of what the daily tasks would be like. Then, the second call was with some of the current development team. This round focused more on technical questions and a more detailed, technical look at the day-to-day responsibilities. The last interview was with the main partner of the company. It was pretty similar to the first one, not too heavy on the tech side. It was a good chance to learn more about the business and it was nice to chat with the top person. The whole process felt really informative and not at all aggressive or uncomfortable, pretty relaxed conversations. Just make sure you can actually do the job, cause they will ask you stuff you should know.

Paid Search Social Media Marketing Strategist
It was a pretty simple interview. I had two in-person interviews. The first one was with the hiring director, and the second one was with both the owner and the director. The questions were basic and not stressful.
- Regarding keyword match types, do you understand the distinctions?
- What is your motivation for seeking this role?
Media Buyer
I had a phone interview with the lead Marketing Manager, and then a team interview in the office with Market Managers & the Owner. Each interview was separate in the conference room. Sometimes they asked the same things but everyone was nice. You gotta prove what you know.
- Do you know what a DMA is?
Marketing Manager
The first interview was an hour long and felt really promising. Both the interviewer and I were energetic. It ended with the interviewer saying they really wanted me for the role and that my profile was being shared with higher management, who wanted to see me in the office immediately. The second interview, I was asked to share examples of my work, which felt like a bit of a red flag, and they insisted I accept their salary requirements. They said I was the only candidate they wanted. Because I'm an ethical person, I continued with the second call because I felt like I was going to be the chosen candidate. It was another hour-long call, even longer. It ended with more talk about me being the one they wanted and getting ready for next steps. Then, there was silence for over a week. I finally emailed them to ask what was going on. They sent a very general email back, like I was a stranger and they had never spoken with me, thanking me for my time, etc. What a waste of 3 weeks, and they didn't even consider calling or emailing me back immediately.
- How would you approach this job?
