Analyst
First, an HR call for personality checks. Then, I had two interviews with the hiring manager and the director. It was a high-level discussion. No personality tests or business cases were involved. The questions focused on my past experience and included some technical queries.
- Can you tell me about your past experiences?
- Elaborate on your previous work history.
- Describe your professional background.
Project Manager
I applied online through LinkedIn and right away they sent me an invite for a Teams interview with the recruiter and department head. We had a good chat about the role and my background, it felt like a real two-way street. They said they'd get back to me in about 2 days, but it's been over a month and I still haven't heard anything. I tried reaching out to the recruiter but got no reply. They were also really vague about the salary they were offering.
- Can you explain how your past work experience matches the requirements outlined in the job description?
Operations
Customer Success
The interview process was pretty disappointing, it felt really unstructured and inconsiderate from my perspective as a candidate. They said it would be three stages, but it ended up being four because the hiring manager showed up right after my cultural fit interview without telling me beforehand. I was caught off guard and felt it showed a lack of respect for my time and how much I prepared. The cultural fit chat, which I thought would be about values and stuff, felt kind of disconnected, like they had already decided to move forward. Even though I was flexible on salary, the offer was way lower than what was mentioned before, so communication seems inconsistent internally. What really stood out was the disorganization – the surprise extra stage and then a rushed, impersonal closing email. I guess I appreciate that they responded, but the whole thing made me feel undervalued and discouraged, especially after putting in so much effort and showing enthusiasm.
- Tell me about a time you had to juggle many tasks with a tight deadline.
