Backend Developer
The whole process from start to finish was super clear and easy to understand. It kicked off with a chat with the hiring manager, who laid out the plan and what to expect. The interviews included a technical session, a panel discussion, and a meeting with the CTO. The panel itself had two back-end focused interviews and a chat with a product manager. It was a really great experience overall. The interviews felt more like a collaborative work session, working with a senior dev to figure things out, instead of just being peppered with random questions that don't relate to the actual job.

- We'll delve into how to write better code, discuss creativity, and your thinking process. Let's also talk about your preferences and what you think makes sense.
- What hurdles have you encountered with tooling?
Patient Care Coordinator
I had one interview that I cancelled because of the low pay, but they reached out again so I decided to go through with it. The recruiter changed last minute, which was fine. She went over the role and immediately brought up their low pay. I asked if they could meet my salary expectations in the low 20s, considering the evening shift is $14-18/hr and overnight is $18-22/hr, which is ridiculous for California. After that, the interview was kind of meh. After the interview, I received an email stating they decided not to move forward due to the pay. I felt like they could have at least tried to work with me since I mentioned I'd be open to it. Reading reviews, the low pay is a consistent issue and it's frankly criminal what they offer.
- Can you share an instance where you successfully de-escalated a situation and satisfied an unhappy patient?
Quality Assurance Engineer
The interview process started with an HR round where we talked about my experience and how I'd fit in. After that, I had an hour-long interview with the QA manager focusing on QA practices. I was then given a take-home assignment to complete within two days. Following that, there was a one-hour technical interview with the team, and finally, a one-hour discussion with the VP of Engineering about the role. The whole thing was pretty smooth.

Software Engineer
It was a four-part process back when things were virtual. It started with a recruiter call, then I spoke with an engineering manager, followed by a take-home coding challenge, and wrapped up with a virtual onsite interview. The people I met were really friendly. I didn't end up getting the offer, mostly because I didn't have the exact skills they were looking for at that time.
- Could you design a basic React application for listing items?
