I had a phone screening, then a virtual interview. After that, I did a 48-hour hybrid trial period. The first day was at home on my own laptop, testing a buggy website. There were so many bugs I couldn't finish the test cases. I didn't even take lunch because I was worried about time. I didn't get any training, just a quick chat with the lead reviewer who explained the schedule and gave one example bug ticket. They corrected my ticket formatting even though I used their example. It was weird being thrown into a trial like that. The next day, I went to the Portland office to test a mobile app. It was better because there were fewer bugs, so I finished faster. After the trial, I had to complete a survey about it. The trial ended Thursday, and I heard back Monday about the results. The whole experience felt odd and degrading; it seemed like they expected you to be a machine with no time to talk to anyone. Given the pay, lack of benefits, and expectations, I wouldn't recommend this job.

The interview process involved a phone screen, a panel interview, and a three-day work trial. Because I had relevant experience, the phone screen was fast and simple. The panel interview wasn't too difficult; the managers were friendly and asked relevant questions about my background. Shortly after, I was invited for a trial period. Although it's usually three days, I got an offer on the second day. My previous experience definitely made it easier. If you research QA and have some experience showing you can do the job, I definitely recommend it.

First, there was a phone interview that lasted over 15 minutes. After that, I had an in-person interview with multiple interviewers. During the in-person part, we discussed my past work and experience. It was pretty relaxed, not high pressure at all. They gave me 10 minutes to look at a website and write down any problems I spotted in that time. Then, I had a 2-day trial period.

Applied online and got a call back for a phone interview the very next day. It seemed to go pretty well, and they didn't ask any technical questions. Unfortunately, I didn't get an offer because my school schedule conflicted with the work hours.
