Supplier Quality Engineer
The interview experience at Plexus (Bayan Lepas, Riverside Site) was quite unpleasant. The interviewer went over my payslip, which I felt was private information and should have been handled by HR. I didn't get to properly answer questions because they were mostly close-ended, limiting my ability to explain my experience. It seemed like they had already decided not to hire me, which made me wonder why they bothered interviewing me at all. The interviewer used unprofessional language and even said I was wasting his time. While I can't speak for the actual work environment, the interview gave me a very negative impression of the company's culture and professionalism.
- Instead of changing jobs, why didn't you ask your previous HR to move you to a Quality role?
- What was the reason for your medical leave that particular month?
Quality Engineer
It was a really smooth interview and they introduce you to the company. An online interview is a job interview done remotely using Teams. One key thing about online interviews is that you need a good internet connection, a quiet place, and a working camera and mic so communication is smooth. They are convenient and flexible, saving time and travel money for both sides.
- Tell me about yourself and your current job duties.
- Can you explain your current role and responsibilities?
Supplier Quality Engineer
The interview process was split into two parts. First, an HR representative asked standard questions focusing on my work experience, current skills, and how they align with the role's objectives. Since English proficiency was noted as a plus for the position, about half of this initial interview was conducted in English. The second part was with the direct manager to evaluate my skills more deeply, involving several technical questions related to component samples and technical datasheet specifications.
- Could you explain how critical to function and critical to quality dimensions are identified using the customer data drawing?
