Project Manager
The interview process took up most of the day. It started with a presentation, then a panel interview. After that, there were several interviews with important people, followed by lunch with someone who does the same job. We also got a tour of the place, and then I had two more one-on-one interviews. Even though it was a long day, everyone was really nice and it didn't feel too stressful. The recruiters were super helpful and gave me all the info I needed, plus clear instructions for the presentation.
- Can you describe your experience managing international teams with different areas of expertise?
Project Manager
The internal HR recruiter was very helpful and professional. The interview itself was a panel format. Most of the interviewers were friendly and positive, except for the leader, who seemed unhappy and didn't really participate. I had a feeling it wasn't going to work out after that.
- Can you share an instance where you encountered a problem and how you resolved it?
- Describe a situation where you had to deal with a challenging stakeholder.
- Walk me through a time when a project you were involved in did not succeed.
SAP Project Manager
They had 3 interview rounds, with the CIO being the final interviewer. The first two rounds were with directors and the hiring manager. It was a friendly chat, but it was strange to have 3 rounds for a PM role, and there were big gaps between the interviews.
- In a situation with a challenging client, how would you handle it?
- Could you describe how you manage team conflicts?
- What do you consider the three most important qualities for a Project Manager?
