It was a pretty standard process for them since they're a big corporate company. Started with a screening, then a call with the hiring manager, followed by a panel interview with other PMs and a director. I talked about myself and my experience, and then we went around the room and everyone else asked a question. It was pretty standard.

I had a screening call, and then the next round was scheduled with the senior product manager. The round with him was straightforward and consisted of behavioral questions.

Behavioral Technical Coding

It began with an HR screening that essentially went over my resume, pretty standard stuff. Then came a personality and IQ test, which were pretty interesting and didn't take too long. After that, I had an onsite interview with a manager, the architect, and a team lead. They seemed to have forgotten to read my resume because they didn't ask about my past work experience at all. They asked a mix of decent and random questions verbally. I'm not a fan of this 'verbal golden question' approach. I'd rather have a written test with 50 to 100 job-specific questions where I can show what I know, instead of answering just a few make-or-break questions. A lot of interviews are like this now, and I think it's just lazy and inconsistent. They also included a whiteboarding coding exercise, which I really dislike since it's not how we work. I managed okay, but it was distracting having everyone watch me try to code with a marker.

Behavioral Technical

Started with a great 3rd party recruiter who was upfront and personable. Then had some technical issues trying to schedule an HR interview. HR didn't show up and hasn't replied to emails. The 3rd party recruiter tried to keep me in the loop, but I decided to stop since it seemed like the company wasn't really coordinating things.
