This whole thing has taken about 4 weeks so far. It started with a 30 min call with the Talent Acquisition Manager, then a 30 min call with the Director. After that, I had another sync with the Talent Acquisition Manager. The main day was a panel interview, which was all virtual on Zoom. It started with a 15 min sync with the Talent Coordinator. Then, three 30 minute interviews back-to-back with people I'd be working with closely. After a 30 minute break, there were two more 30 minute interviews back-to-back with the person who would report to me and the Director. It wrapped up with a 15 minute debrief with the Talent Acquisition Manager. The scheduling was super smooth and I really enjoyed talking to everyone; they all seemed pretty engaged. I'm just waiting to hear back now.

The interview was well organized and they communicated everything so I knew what topics to expect and who I’d be meeting. Everyone was engaging, knowledgeable, respectful, and seemed genuinely positive about working at Plenty. Each person was efficient with their time and kept the conversation focused on how my experience aligned with the role, and gave me time to answer. I’m grateful for the opportunity to have met with the team and am very excited about the possibility of joining and contributing to the mission of this innovative company.

I applied online and didn't hear back but luckily, my contact at Plenty connected me to the recruiter just two days later. I sent the recruiter a LinkedIn message and got an interview with another HR person the next week. I had to resubmit all my application documents, which was annoying since it wasn't through their website this time. The interview was basically a phone screen. We talked about the job basics, what experience and qualities they wanted, and I got to talk about my interest in Plenty's mission and why I'd be a good fit. I also asked some general questions, nothing unexpected for an initial HR chat. We wrapped up with my timeline, salary expectations, and the next steps. They said I'd hear back by the end of the week. I felt it went really well and sent a thank you note the same day. When Friday came with no response, I followed up on Saturday. Still nothing by the end of that week, so I reached out again via LinkedIn messages, but still no reply. It's just rude and they didn't follow through on what they said.
