First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Plentific.
Senior Software Developer
So, this company ghosted me after the interviews, which I was probably lucky for, given the reviews. The interview process had three stages: first, a call that I assume was to check my fit; second, a test; and finally, a more technical interview with some developers.
- Can you discuss your past work experience?
- Do you have answers to some common developer questions?
Software Engineer
They reached out over Cord and had a great process. There wasn't a take-home test, but there was a straightforward paired programming exercise. I really enjoyed speaking to the team and the talent manager, even though I didn't end up taking the role.
- Have you ever led teams before, and if so, what size were they?
Software Developer
The whole process took 9 weeks, compared to a more typical 3-week process. The team was really unenthusiastic. I was excited about the job until I finally had an interview with an actual developer. It began with an initial call with a recruiter. Then a takeaway coding challenge. Next, an hour-long interview with two developers. Finally, a call with the team lead.
- The coding challenge required you to create an API using Django to populate a Postgres database using Heroku.
- The hour-long interview consisted of a simple challenge that was an integer array-based one.
- Questions regarding backend stuff, such as HTTP protocols.
