So the interview process was three rounds. First, it was a group interview where we could wear casual/sporty clothes for some group games and activities. Each person had to come up with a short 3-minute game to teach the rest of the group. There were about 5 other candidates, and everyone was really positive and friendly. The staff interviewing us were also super laid-back and nice. The second round was a more formal interview. I was told to dress in business casual and to prepare by looking into the company's values and what a coach does here. It was a panel interview with three people – one taking notes and two asking questions. They also said to have my own questions ready for them. The third round was a volunteer day. You get to pick a day and a location to volunteer. This gives you a real feel for how the coaches operate and what volunteering with Playworks is like. You volunteer for about four hours at a school, shadowing a current Americorps Playworks coach. It was really helpful and practical.

It was a two-part interview. First, I had to lead a game of my choice to the group. Then, on a different day, I met about 4 employees. We discussed the role and any questions I had. I also did a small presentation/scenario that I prepared beforehand and answered their questions. It was a really comfortable and fun interview.
