Behavioral Technical Case Presentation

applied online- phone screen virtual, HM virtual, panel virtual, case study onsite. At the end of the phone screen when the recruiter explained the case study piece, I told him I would not be engaging in free work and that this practice tells me enough about the company culture that I would have to bow out of this process & would not be interesting in joining an organization that engages in exploitative practices. Also I had read these previous terrible interview experiences prior to the call, AND this position has been reposted MULTIPLE times in the last 4 months which tell me again- they are exploiting candidates by not paying them & expecting them to do case studies which solve real, current problems the organization is facing with NO intention of actually hiring anyone. What POS! RUN FAST!

Behavioral Technical System Design

Typical interview process with various stages. First, a recruiter call to go over background and company info. Then, a manager interview to go over experience and a design level question. After that, more interviews with members for culture fit. Overall the interview process was pretty standard and no gotcha type of questions. My only complaint was the generic rejection based on experience with their tech stack which was communicated at the beginning. Felt like a waste of time if that was ultimately going to be the decider.

Behavioral Technical

It was a standard interview process with multiple rounds. Started with the recruiter, then spoke with the director. After that, there was a panel conversation with the managers, and the final round was an onsite with the VP. The conversations were friendly but challenging, and they really seemed to know their business.

I had a zoom interview with the hiring manager first, and then I got selected for a second interview. The second interview was more intense, it was 4 sessions over Microsoft Teams, lasted 2 hours, and I was interviewed by 10 people.
