Behavioral Presentation

The interview process was super efficient, well-thought-out, and organized. The HR and hiring team were really communicative and quick with everything, so I always knew what was going on and what to expect next. It started with a chat with HR, then a work sample, followed by a review of that sample with operations leaders, and finally an in-person meeting with the building team. Even though I wasn't initially chosen, the HR team kept me updated with honest feedback and let me know how things were progressing. When another position opened up, they reached out again to bring me back into the running. I really appreciated how open, caring, and professional everyone was. The feedback was helpful and constructive, making the whole experience feel personal, respectful, and in line with what the company stands for.

It was a 1-month process with 6 stages. Started with a 30-min virtual call with a SR. People Team rep. Then, had to do a candidate exercise where I created a presentation for the client. If that was good, next was a virtual "career-walk" interview and live presentation with another Sr. Playbook Rep. After that, an in-person site tour and space walk-through with the Building General Manager and Playbook Sr. Experience Director. Then, a virtual interview with the Client and Playbook Sr. Experience Director. Finally, reference checks.

I applied to Playbook last year but didn't get the job. A few months later, they contacted me about a role that would be a better fit for my skills, and they were correct. This follow-up showed how thoughtful and intentional they are in building their team. The interview process was thorough yet very human. Everyone I spoke with was truly engaged and clearly aligned with Playbook’s mission. It was great to see how involved the team is in selecting people who really represent the company culture and vision. My advice for applicants: be yourself during the interview. Your authenticity will shine. Playbook is not a typical job where you just clock in and out. It's a community of passionate, creative people who care about wellbeing and connection. Do your research, trust the process, and if their purpose resonates with you, go for it. It could be one of the best career decisions you make!

The interview process was friendly, candid and enjoyable. I liked the people I spoke with. However, the salary offering was much lower than I was looking for, and lower than the national or regional average.
