Sales Associate
It was more of a conversation, and they were looking for me to ask them questions. They asked about my schedule and if I was open to working all shifts. Also asked about my strengths and weaknesses, and what good customer service means to me.
- Can you tell me about your availability and if you're able to work any shift?
- What would you say are your biggest strengths and weaknesses?
- In your opinion, what defines excellent customer service?
Cashier
I got this interview because my dad knew the boss from before. We met up at a McDonald's to chat about the job. The boss was on his phone a lot during the interview, texting and talking, which was pretty weird.
- What makes you want to work here?
Sales Staff
After filling out the application, I had a quick run-down to see if I was suitable for the position.
- Could you tell me about your experience with individual sports and your sales background?
Sales Associate
Had a short phone interview and then got invited for a face-to-face meeting. I was asked to bring my ID, social security card, and two copies of my resume. I was upfront about my school schedule, and the hiring manager was very understanding and willing to accommodate it.
- What are your long-term career aspirations?
