Technical Account Manager
My interview journey started with a recruiter call where we realized I might be a better fit for a different position. They then redirected me to another hiring manager for a different team. This is where things went downhill with a chaotic, unprofessional, and rude experience. PlanHat proposed a 2-hour test followed by a 30-minute discussion immediately after, requiring a 2.5+ hour commitment without compensation. I found this a bit long for an initial round but was willing to proceed. While scheduling this, the hiring manager requested I do it at 12:30 am my time, which I agreed to due to her US time zone. She then asked if the follow-up could be right after (around 3 am my time). I agreed but expressed a preference for an early morning slot. Her response was to terminate the process, citing my lack of flexibility. This was surprising as I had agreed to the original time and only asked for a slight adjustment for the follow-up. This experience was incredibly toxic and unprofessional, leaving me stunned, especially since I was genuinely interested in PlanHat and had relevant experience as a past user of their tool. After this encounter, I cannot recommend working there.

Technical Account Manager
I got a referral from someone who works here. I met with different people from various teams because I wasn't totally sure which role would be the best fit. The whole thing took under two weeks, and I felt like they really listened and understood me. The interviews were mainly about understanding my goals and what drives me, in a chatty way, to see if my experience and personality fit with Planhat and where I'd best fit in to start.

Technical Account Manager
I first applied for a product manager role, got interviewed by the CTO and did a test, but was rejected. About six months later, I saw a Technical Account Manager opening. The interview process was similar, with three interviews (one with the CEO) and a test focusing on a different skill set. This time, I got the job. I later found out they didn't hire for the PM role I initially applied for. Planhat seems to have high standards and won't hire if they don't find a strong candidate.
