First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Planet Smoothie.
Customer Service Representative
It was standard, they were a newly open store so they sat me down with a desk and just started the interview. The owner was very sweet and had an overall easy-going vibe.
- How do you handle working under pressure?
Cashier Smoothie Maker
I had a one-on-one with the franchise manager. They asked me basic questions about my availability, salary needs, school background, and previous work history. They also tested my memory by quizzing me on the ingredients of a smoothie I typically make.
- How quickly can you memorize smoothie ingredients?
Store Manager
The interview was good. I got a call back within 24 hours of applying online and they invited me to meet. The hiring manager asked me typical customer service questions about my background and experience, previous job responsibilities, my availability, and the duties for this role. It was a really informative conversation. I like how the store operates.
- Can you introduce yourself?
- What would you say is your greatest strength?
- And what would you consider your biggest weakness?
Smoothie Maker
The interview was super short, like five or ten minutes. It was mostly just basic questions about things like my previous job and if I'm usually on time. It felt more like a casual chat to see if I'd fit in with the manager. No hard questions or anything technical.
- What makes you a good fit for our team?
- Can you share an instance where you had a disagreement with someone and how it was resolved?
