I found out about the opening from my stepdad, who worked as a subcontractor at Planet Fitness. I went to the gym and spoke with the manager, giving her my resume. She mentioned she was about to review applications and quickly looked at my resume, saying she'd call me within a few weeks. I then got a call to come in for a one-on-one interview and was offered the job, starting the next week.
