First, they give you a call to go over the basic job duties, what the pay is like, and to see if it's what you're looking for. If it all sounds good, they'll set up an interview. During the interview, you'll get questions about how you'd deal with certain scenarios, like if a member is nervous or if a member calls because they're mad about being charged.

I applied online first and then got a call from the general manager for an interview. The GM and Assistant Manager interviewed me for about 15-20 minutes. They mentioned a second interview, which did happen. In the second round, I met with the regional manager and was asked general questions about my past jobs and my knowledge of Planet Fitness. I also had to read a short script.

It was quick and simple. You just apply online and fill in your contact info, then wait for the manager to call you at the club you applied for. Then you go to an interview and they'll tell you right then if you got the job. Sometimes they say they're just interviewing but not actually hiring right now, but they do it to see if you're good because with such a high turnover rate, they need people ready to go.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you tell me about a time you had to handle a situation with an upset or unhappy customer?
