First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at Placester.
People Operations Specialist
I had a chat with the recruiter, then the hiring manager, and after that, I got to meet with different people across the company, including leaders and folks on the team I'd join. The questions were pretty specific and each interview focused on different things, which was cool. They asked about my recruitment strategies, how I approach growth and development, how I'd work with other departments, and my general philosophies. I felt like all the talks were really positive, and everyone was open about the role, its opportunities, and the challenges.
- What are your thoughts on structuring team roles and fostering employee growth and development?
Senior Software Engineer
I was contacted by a recruiter first. After that, I had a phone interview with the CEO, and then completed a coding project that I've linked. The whole experience wasn't great, and you don't feel respected by the employees there. The CEO wasn't polite, forgot about our scheduled meeting, and would call whenever he felt like it.

Intern
To get ready for interviews, candidates should be able to show real interest in Placester, and the job they're looking for. For example, they could do some research on what they like and why and how they can help out. People should take a stance on something and ask questions, if they think an issue is important to them (it might also be important for Placester).
- Can you tell me about your experience with teamwork and your thoughts on professional growth?

Software Engineer
I had a 30 minute phone screening where they asked about my resume and talked about the company. After that, I went in and was asked some technical questions by a team member and then had a casual interview with the team head.
