First, we had an HR Screening for about 30 minutes where they introduced the company and team, and asked about my background, projects, availability, salary expectations, and if I had any relocation or remote needs. Then, there were two technical interviews. The first was a 60-minute System Design session where I had to design a simple banking transaction system, focusing on scalability, data consistency, and error handling, and discuss my choices for DB, caching, and architecture (microservices vs. monolith). The second was a 60-minute Technical Interview #2 — Coding, where I had to do live coding for a REST API for basic account management (CRUD) in a language of my choice, with an emphasis on clean code, error handling, and tests.

I started in one recruitment for FINAT PKO BP, but three ladies from PKO HR encouraged me to begin interviews for other companies. The tech interview was fine and easy. Developers asked me questions about .NET, javascript, react, and SQL Server. No algorithms, only pure practice. My advantage is CyberSecurity, so they decided to have the next meeting with me about security. And Developer Team leader told me that they want me in some superposition developer with security. I had questions about web attacks, SQL Injection, XSS, CSRF... It was super easy. I had two tech interviews, but the recruiter told me there would be only one. Big minus! In the end, I didn't know how many interviews I had started. In the final meeting, I answered most questions. They were very positive, the team leader said "I will be happy to work with you, in the company we have table football that we can play..." then he asked about my financial expectations, I told them, but It was way too high. They were disappointed and said that it was way too high and HR would contact me. After the last meeting, I didn't get any answer from them. HR started to spam me with the next offers.

Confirmed questions2 questions
  • If we phone your current Team leader right now, what will he say about you?
  • If we called your current Team leader, what would he say about you at this moment?
