It was a great experience and the interviewers asked good questions about my background, what I want to develop in my career, and how I work with a creative team. I also gave a presentation on two projects from my portfolio.

It was a pretty standard interview process. They asked about me, my background, and my experience. The interview was conducted over the phone with someone from their Chicago office. Since the interview was over the phone, I figured they knew I wasn't local, and their job description didn't mention anything about being local either. She was very specific about interview timing, offering two options right in the middle of the workday, which was inconvenient as I can't easily step away from my desk for half a day, but I managed. She mentioned they don't usually hire out-of-state applicants and asked when I might be in the area. Basically, to continue, I'd have to fly out on my own expense. Without even an email exchange with the SF office, this felt like a big risk. I suggested a FaceTime call before committing to travel. I emailed her a thank you and a follow-up, but never heard back, which wasn't surprising. Overall, it felt like a waste of time, and I wish they were clearer about their location requirements upfront.

They asked standard questions about my experience, specifically about working with Pharma brands. It seems like having Pharma experience is a must, so I wouldn't recommend applying if you don't have it. I didn't hear back after the interview.

Confirmed questions1 question
  • Can you detail your experience within the pharmaceutical industry?
