Behavioral Case Presentation

It was a phone screening, then a 1x1 with the hiring manager, followed by about 3 panel interviews, and it finished with an onsite case study presentation. The recruiter was super communicative until the end. Everyone on the team was professional and respectful. Each interviewer had their questions ready. I didn't have much time to ask questions myself, but there were several interview rounds in total so it was fine.

I applied and got a quick response for a phone interview, then a few days later they invited me for an onsite interview. I was e-mailing the person I was talking to regularly, and even when I thought I might be late, I communicated that and apologized. I thought the interview went well, the people I met were great and easy to talk to. But after I finished, I was escorted out immediately and didn't even get to ask my follow-up questions. I e-mailed both people I talked to after the interview, thanking them for their time and asking when I would hear back. I got an automated response the next day saying I didn't get the job. I appreciate getting an e-mail, but a text from a bot?? I was communicating directly with them and I couldn't just get an e-mail back saying, "thanks for your effort, but not this time." I was really interested and excited to possibly be a part of that company, but it's quite unprofessional to send an automated message.

The company expects you to have a good grasp of or be really interested in their industry. You'll probably be asked to sell something personal to you. Focus on highlighting your customer service and problem-solving abilities. The company culture is very laid-back; even the recruiter and some staff wore sweatshirts or flip-flops, so dressing up isn't necessary. The team seems quite young.
