Group Behavioral

Group discussion is where people exchange ideas and opinions on a topic. This is mainly used for MBA admissions. A typical GD has a small group of candidates, and they are given a topic, which can be general or specific like 'Kashmir Conflict' or 'Where there's a will there's a way'. You should take a stand. It's not essential to conclude with a positive or negative viewpoint, but summarizing well and staying neutral can give you an edge. There's a time limit for the discussion, and everyone has to share their views. Panelists judge the discussion. After the time is up, the best candidate is chosen from the group. This process repeats for other groups. Then there's a personal interview.
