The interview process involved a 30 minute recruiter call to discuss my background and previous job history. Then, there was a one hour call with the hiring manager focusing on my background and the details of the job role. Finally, I had to complete a take-home data modelling project using dbt (data build tool).

So, this company had me go through 6 interviews, and they also made me do some free work as part of their interview process. After all that, they didn't even bother to follow up with me, just ghosted. The people I talked to were mostly nice, but I noticed a lot of confusion and lack of communication among them. This should have been a red flag. They really need to get their act together and, most importantly, learn to respect candidates. If they can't treat candidates well, they probably don't respect their employees either. And word gets around, people share these experiences, not just on review sites.

It was a very long interview process, felt like a waste of time. I interviewed with many people who asked repetitive questions. They also didn't seem knowledgeable about the role. I went through around 6 rounds of interviews. Some finance executives seemed tired during the interviews. I decided it wasn't a good fit for me.

Not a good process out in place. They tell you one thing such as going to the next process's and then send an email. They show a lot of miscommunication during the interview process.
