First-hand accounts from people who interviewed at PioneerRx Pharmacy Software.
Pharmacy Technician
I had a phone interview and then an in person interview. The in person one was about 2 hours long, but everyone was really nice. It was a one on one interview and not too formal, mostly just explaining the job and asking a couple of questions.
- Are you willing and able to travel on a weekly basis?
Hardware Support Specialist
I applied online and a recruiter reached out to set up a 30 min phone interview with some basic IT questions. Then, I had an hour-long Zoom interview with 2 managers. I got to pick the day for this one from a whole week of options. It was a mix of smart situational questions for a hardware support role. Some were tough, but they wanted to see how I'd handle problems. It was really about who I am, what I know, and if I'd fit the culture, which was cool and different from typical IT interviews. I had about 10-15 min at the end for my questions. I got an offer a few days later and accepted. The whole thing took under 2 weeks.
- Mostly situational scenarios about networking and hardware support.
- How would you react and figure out an issue in a challenging scenario?
Software Engineer
About a week after applying online, I had a phone chat with HR about my interests, personality, and general experience. Then, about 4 weeks later, I went for an in-person interview in Irving with the VP and Dev Lead. They seemed more focused on my potential to learn and my problem-solving approach rather than just what I already knew. I got an offer the same day. The whole process was pretty good, though I wish there was better communication or a shorter wait between the HR call and the in-person interview. Since this was my first internship interview, I'm not sure if that wait time is typical. It's a great company with great people, so I'd totally recommend applying!
- Could you describe a project you were involved in and outline the steps you took to bring it to completion?
Pharmacy Manager
The interview was easy. The interviewer was nice and personable but they make you do one of those personality surveys to continue on in the interview process which is well known to be one of the worse way to get employees. I think they need to research why most companies did away with those things. For this reason so I chose not to carry on with them.
- Did you know what this company does?
