It was a 3 stage interview process. Started with a recruiter call. Then I had a Mental Agility Test and an offline coding task. The McQuaig test was a bit tough to finish in time but it was okay. Finally, I had the last stage interview. The interviewers seemed indifferent which probably should have been a red flag. I haven't heard back since, even after emailing them. It felt like a backup interview in case an offer was declined by someone else.

The recruiter was super communicative throughout. After a quick phone chat with them, I got sent a link for a coding challenge. The first coding task was straightforward (Roman numerals), but the second one was pretty tough, needing some math knowledge I didn't have. I passed that and moved on to an interview. They said it would be competency-based, but honestly, they barely asked me anything about my background besides the usual 'tell us about yourself,' which was a bummer since I'd prepped my projects. Then, I had to do a FizzBuzz exercise in JavaScript while screen-sharing. After that, there was a logic problem to solve. In the end, they chose someone else who nailed the logic part better. I asked for feedback, and they just said everything was fine, so I'm still a bit confused about what went wrong.

It started with a chat from an internal recruiter to go over the role, where the office would be, and a general idea of what the interview process would look like. After that, I had two multiple-choice tests, one looking at personality and the other at logical thinking. If those went well, I got a coding test where I had to use JavaScript (specifically Moment.js) to change and show dates. This was followed by an on-site interview, and the whole thing took about 1-2 weeks. The on-site lasted 1-2 hours and involved another JavaScript coding test. The interviewers handled it really well, focusing on how you figured things out, and even letting people use Google for syntax if they weren't super strong in JavaScript. To wrap things up, there was another logic test and some general interview questions.
