Marketing Executive
It was awkward, the Recruitment Manager asked most of the questions while the potential Line Manager (Marketing Manager) sat silently. When I had questions, the Marketing Manager couldn't answer them and seemed uninterested.
- What are your recommendations or ideas to help the company improve?
Marketing
I had 2 stages of interviews. The first one was with HR, and it was a really good conversation about my skills, career development, and the company. I then had to complete 2 tests (personality and MMAT). If those went well, I moved on to the second stage with HR and a potential manager. The second stage interview was a mix of competency-based questions and a discussion about my past experiences, and there was also time to ask questions to both of them. Overall, it was a positive, professional, and pleasant experience, even though I didn't get the role in the end.
- Can you describe your skills?
- Can you tell me about your past experience?
- Can you provide examples of your competencies?
Marketing Executive
After I applied on Linkedin, I got a call the next day from their recruiter. It was a really friendly chat, and then they asked me to do two short online tasks for the next step. Once I finished those, they called me the following day and invited me for an interview right away. The first interview was really friendly, and the questions covered personality, skills, experience, and thought process. I also had plenty of time to ask my questions. The day after that, I was invited to a final interview where I had to do three task questions that really reflected the job description. The final interview was similar to the first, but it went deeper into my skills, personality, knowledge of the brand, and my motivation to work for Student Beans. Both interviews were well-organized and followed up on efficiently and professionally. They called me after each one to get my thoughts on how it went and any issues. The whole experience was enjoyable, and the team at Student Beans made me feel really welcome every time. I can't fault the interview process at all.
- Can you share an example of a successful team task completion and your role in it?
- Tell me about a task that did not go well and the reasons behind it.
- Which brand do you like the most and what's the reason behind it?
