Customer Success Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process, and the people I met were really nice. They had a set list of questions they asked, and they were looking for STAR method answers based on specific scenarios. I didn't get any feedback after the second part, and it took a while to hear back even after I followed up a few times via email.
- Tell me about a time you built an account from the very beginning.
Customer Success Manager
The process kicked off great with the TA specialist being super clear and giving good insights. First was the TA call, then a call with the Hiring Manager and TA, followed by a presentation to the HM and Head of Dept. Everyone was professional and easy to chat with. After waiting two weeks, I got a last-minute 15-min call the same day with a senior person from a different department. I didn't get much info beforehand, but I was keen on a decision, so I took it. The call felt really unorganized. They asked what I understood about the role, then seemed to make up questions like 'Oh, I don't know, tell me about a time when...' It felt like they were improvising. I felt dismissed. They said I'd get feedback in 2 days but it took 4. The feedback was just 'He felt you could have given more,' which wasn't helpful, and I didn't see them taking notes.

- Could you describe a situation where...
Customer Success Manager
I applied in November when the job was posted and heard back within hours. The recruiter didn't show up on the scheduled date, and I had to follow up for two weeks to get a response. It took another week to rebook. The recruiter was late on the rebooked date and rushed the 15-minute interview (instead of 30). I was told they were in the late stages with others and could expedite if they liked my profile. My CV honestly stated I didn't have 1:1 line management experience, but during the call, I was repeatedly asked if I did. They were supposed to follow up the next day, but I never heard back.
- Regarding your experience, do you have any line management experience?
