Business Development Manager
It was a pretty standard interview process, nothing too out of the ordinary. What was surprising though was how unprofessional they were about not following up. I sent a typical 'thanks for your time, let me know about next steps or feedback' email the next day, and heard absolutely nothing back. Because of that, I'd say to steer clear of this company.
- Tell me about your experience managing a Business Development team.
Business Development Manager
The interview process involved a psychometric and agility test, followed by an initial meeting with recruitment and senior management. The final stage consisted of two online interviews with the Sales Director and a Senior Manager. The entire process spanned about two weeks, and recruitment kept me updated, promptly responding to any questions I had.
- In what ways would your colleagues characterize you?
- What do you consider to be your shortcomings?
Business Development Manager
Screening call with recruiter, then interview with hiring manager, then final interview and demo with manager and sales leadership. The recruiter and hiring manager were great, final interview kept getting pushed back. Sales leader I was presenting to was clearly preoccupied with other work on his laptop the whole time and kept yawning as he was tired from travelling. Felt like they had already made the decision before the final interview
- Can you describe what success in this role would look like?
