Behavioral Case

It was a typical 3-round interview process. After the last interview, I waited a week. I reached out to the hiring manager to see if a decision had been made. A few more days passed and still no word. I then contacted someone else I had interviewed with, but also got no response. It's been almost a month since my final interview and I haven't heard anything about the final decision. It feels unprofessional and disrespectful to have a candidate go through weeks of interviews and then be left in the dark after the final round.

So I just got hired as an Account Manager at Student Beans, and honestly, the whole hiring thing was top-notch, the best I've ever been through. It started with a phone interview, then I had to do two online surveys. After that, I was invited for two in-person meetings, one with the Head of Talent and then with some Senior Account Managers. I worked really closely with Jess, the Head of Talent, and she was super helpful, guiding me and getting me prepped for each step. They made it really clear what I needed to do throughout the whole recruitment process, which was a huge relief!

The recruitment team at Student Beans was really great. It started with a phone chat with the internal recruiter. They asked about me and my background, then told me about Student Beans and the job. She was super encouraging about the role and my experience. After that, I had to do two online tests: a personality one and a reasoning task. Then, I had an in-person interview with a recruiter and a manager. The last step was another interview with the same manager and the commercial director. Throughout it all, Jess and Shannon were awesome, keeping me updated, giving feedback, and being available for questions even after I got the offer, right up until my first day.
